| About Me | My name is Jaquan Weltch. The contentment of the heart in the obedience of Allah, is like bliss even in the worst of calamities. But the depression of the heart in the disobedience of Allah, is like hell, even in the greatest of affluence. We come from the children of the slaves of white men Amendments came freed our fathers, now were enslaved again Now, not our bodies but the freedom of our souls are gone. Working day and night to the dictates of our desires Desperate for a fix of new cars, clothes, and girls Chained down and whipped by the distractions of the world. They don’t want us to think, to reflect, or to ponder. All they want is to keep us spirtual dumb and to wander were being taught what to believe as soon as we log on its all wrong, especially what we thought all along. Our souls are thirsty but were given into the flesh. Reality is we all gonna be laid to rest. And the best of the best are those who prepared for the journey We all need Allah, because not one of us is worthy. Our purpose is bigger than beating call of duty. The injustice is unruly but you cant see past the Gucci Glasses, were being stupefied in masses. Tryna blind out reality by pouring covousier in glasses. That’s what they want if the truth may be told. Us to bend over backwards, chasin after gold. We are human beings we were created to be slaves. Taught to behave and live a certain way. Then we fell from the path when rap became all trash. Now we search for fame, looking up to wayne? Come on man, don’t you see whats happening Its back again, slavery without all the shackling. Keeping us dumb so we don’t look past the fence. It must commence, the journey of the soul is now. You cant fill the void of the heart with the earth Cause compared to the Lord it don’t got no worth And im not talking bout Jesus, don’t get me wrong Cuz when the tough got going even he bowed his head down To the creator of all, Lord of the east and west coast God dont have kids, stop saying son and holy ghost. This is the map to the ultimate destination. Forget the body you must find spiritual emancipation. In elaboration, it’s the only way out of the sadness There is no such thing in this world as external happiness Give your soul what it has wanted all along Turn off the songs and grab a Holy Quran. From dirt you were created and to it you will return again. Whether you obey or you turn your backs in pride Do...(read more) |
