| About | Mike and I were best, best friends and grew up together in Keauhou Bay , Kona, Hawaii,. Boy we lived life to the fullest and more as kids. My family ended up moving to SJ, Ca, the end of my 10th grade year. About a year later Mike called asking if he could come live with my family and complete our 12th grade together . Mom said yes . So school was very different and at time difficult for both of us compared to Hawaii. We even needed to go back to one of his teacher to ask him to regrade Mike last test of the year . Holy cow Mike had two answers right that got mistakenly marked wrong. We both managed to graduate Leigh High School together in 1975. He was kind, wild, and a lady’s man that never stopped wonder ing what’s around the next bend in the road. I think the adventures in his life took him on quite a journey. He would always find a way to call ???? me about every 4 or 5 yrs to chat or say I’m coming to see you again . I surely loved him and will deeply miss. Mike has a son and a granddaughter he left behind to continue those journeys for him. I’ll miss you buddy. Danny Karnes, |
