About Me	I have 2 beautiful baby girls, a beautiful home to call ours, food in my belly, a great job that I absolutely love and enjoy going to work at, and the opportunity to be in school. Life is full of ups and downs, but it is our choice how we live through them! The past year has been filled so many wonderful blessings that helps me live through even the toughest times! We don't always have to agree or understand things that happen in our lives, we just gotta keep putting one foot in front of the other and doing the best job we can. Who knows what the next year will bring, all I know is bring it! To all who read this, can you do me a favor! For the past couple years Kaitlyn, my youngest daughter, has been monitored for possible marfans! I spent hours upon hours researching marfans as I had never heard of it! I read very basic material that defined it as a connective tissue disorder causing tall very lengthy patients with longer than normal extremities and high level of flexibility! I read that later in a marfan patients life they can experience heart valve and aorta issues! It was when kaitlyn got pneumonia back in may that we discovered a murmur and was sent to the pediatric cardiology! I went into the appointment knowing there was an issue but never prepared myself for the news we got! The cardiologist right off classified her with marfans and begun the EKG! To me I saw this organ pumping and pumping as she took picture after picture! Talk about a moment of being unsure! She finished up, rushed out and returned what seemed to be a lifetime later! I don't know if it was the part where she asked me if there was someone we could take kaitlyn to do she could talk to us in great depth or if it was the look in her face that gave it away! That talk with dr Houirhan taught me things I never knew, taught me how to appreciate everything in your life and never take it for granted, that talked also showed me the medical team who I would make this journey with my daughter!
