She was survived by her husband of 46 years, 3 children, Joyce (Wilkinson) Jegen (LS Class of '82) of Lee's Summit; Jeff Wilkinson (LS Class of '85), Austin, Texas & Mike Wilkinson (LS Class of '91), Olathe, KS., 10 grand children and 1 great-granddaughter. ------------------------------------------ Obituary from Springfield News Leader: Janet Sue (Westerfield) Wilkinson, 63, Springfield, passed away Saturday morning. Born November 20, 1945, in Lees Summit, Mo.; to Homer and Margaret Westerfield. Janet is survived by husband of 46 years, Arland Wilkinson, Springfield; daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Eric Jegen, Lee's Summit, Mo.; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Cecily Wilkinson, Olathe, Kan.; ten grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; a brother, Richard L. Westerfield, Independence, Mo.; two sisters, Shirley A. Gurney, Clinton, Mo., and Lois J. Henry, Independence, Mo.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at 12 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2009, followed by services at 1 p.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home South, Springfield, Mo. Internment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Springfield, Mo.
