| About Me | I have moved to Jacksonville, Alabama to attend Jacksonville State University. During that time the Lord Jesus Christ saved me from my sins. I began to minister there on campus and found myself involved in many missions opportunities around the world. While I was going through college, I decided God was calling me to be a pastor. I graduated from College with a degree in Graphic Design in April of 2000. Then I moved to Fort Worth Texas where I began attending Seminary to learn and study more about God's Word. I also began working at a local church near the seminary as a youth pastor. It was at that church where I met my wife, Lori. We were married in July of 2001. I graduated from seminary in December of 2003. Then Lori and I together felt that God was calling us to move to Sydney, Australia, where we helped several others plant a church. In 2004 we moved to Sydney with a 2 year visa. While we were there Lori got pregnant with our first child. We moved back to Texas in March of 2006 and in May, Lori gave birth to Suzannah Kay Penland. We were very excited to have a new member of our family and as you can see she is beautiful! In July of 2006 we all moved together to Muscle Shoals, Alabama where I began to intern at Grace Life Church of The Shoals (www.gracelifeshoals.org) in preparation to go out and start a church. However, in April of 2007 a small church in Selmer, TN contacted me and asked if I would interview with them to be their pastor. After several interviews and alot of prayer, Lori and I decided that is what God wanted us to do.
