Died on 31 July 2016 after a battle with pancreatic cancer. James is survived by his wife of 26 years, Cynthia Briggs, and their children, Thomas and Rachel Taylo. Also mourning his loss are his mother Bobbie, and sisters Karen and Julie. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Boca Raton FL. James was a good friend and will be missed, Tom Needham
