About Me	IN BRIEF: Massage therapist. Hands-on teacher. Experience junkie. Ambitious slacker. Crazy cat lady. Ecstatic treehugger. Beading enthusiast. Bird lover. Musical omnivore. Chocoholic. Young at heart, older than dirt. "Liberal" is not a dirty word. I've got big words and I know how to use them. I am an ardent ailurophile. In other words, I am absolutely mad about cats. You have been warned. I write about a lot of daily things, about being a massage educator, about my endless fascination with my three cats and my ten lovebirds, low carb living, digital photography, my musical interests (singing and guitar), my beadwork and my plants. I also try to post commentary about life, society, and politics from time to time. I lean liberal and feminist but not in any by-the-book way. I am a Pagan Pantheist, and not particularly interested in arguing about it. If you're curious, though, I mean this: I believe that all things are part of one sacred Organism and that the separations between us are illusion. I believe in interconnections and in honoring each other as manifestations of the Divine. I believe that pleasure is the Universe's way of loving us and wanting us to be happy, and that pleasure can be found in observation of nature, in helping other people, in thinking excellent thoughts and in loving and connecting at a deep interpersonal level.
