| About Me | I started my teaching career in the Bootheel (East Prairie High School) and became involved with research in the bottomland swamp community nearby for the MO Dept. of Natural Resources. After having our first two kids (my wife is also a LHS alum - Glena Light) we decided to move closer to home so I accepted a position at School of the Osage near Lake of the Ozarks where I have taught, coached football, and served as the Science Dept. Chairperson ever since. I continued my interest in research for DNR by conducting a study on prairie and savanna communities at Bennett Spring S.P., Ha Ha Tonka S.P., Lake of the Ozarks S.P., and Truman S.P.
