About Me	Went to KCKCC, walked on to the B-ball team and was on the Track team. I went to Emporia st for a year then decided School was not working so after my younger brother had already joined the USCG I also joined the USCG in 1984 and became a Helicopter Aircrewman, flying thousands of hours and performing many rescues being stationed in Connecticut for two years,Hawaii for three years,California for five years and Florida for eleven years. I retired from the Coast Guard in 2006 and now work for Lier Sigler Services, a contractor for the Coast Guard doing corrosion maintenance Inspections and repairs on the HH60J Helicopter. I also work at a local Edwin Watts golf shop on the weekends. I have been married to my wife Bonnie since 1985, who I met in Emporia just before leaving to join th Coast Guard . Bonnie is a 1980 Graduate from Emporia High and Kansas State after that and is a Teacher here in Dunedin Florida were we have lived now for 13 years. We have two childre...(read more)
