About Me	I was born and raised in LeMars, Iowa and graduated from the University of Iowa with BA and JD degrees. I met my bride Jonell Stroehle while at the U of I. Since she played guitar (very well) and I played guitar and piano, we played together in a band to supplement our income. I continue to play daily but no longer play professionally. After I graduated, we settled in her hometown of Davenport, Iowa where I started my legal career and where we raised our family of three children. I was in private practice for 33 years with a 15 year stint as the chief felony prosecutor for Soctt County. I focused primarily in trial law but did enjoy the dozen oral arguments that I made to the Iowa Court of Appeals and Iowa Supreme Court. I enjoyed my legal career, but have really enjoyed having some time to enjoy the grandchildren and to take it easy!!! My other interests are golf, reading history, gardening and landscaping, running, bicycling, and grand parenting.
