About Me	I love life and all of my blessings! I'm a mom of 3 awesome kids and 2 of them made me a grandma to Aydrian James, Mika Rose and Marshall Garret Funmaker Jr. My grandchildren are my rewards for raising their parents! I like to sew, bead and powwow! I dance southern buckskin??? Yea, yea, what the h-e-double hockey sticks is a northern girl doing that for! At the request of my late grandma(Marie Red Elk-Nelson) and my Dad - I am to go out as I started and I started as a little buckskin girl over 40 years ago. I danced fancy shawl until I had Marshall and...after he totally attacked my body! aye!!! I changed to jingle and then while dancing jingle about 10 years ago I ruptured my achiles tendon, while dancing at Schemitzun (remember that one!) My injury required extensive reconstructive surgey, I was in a cast for sixth months! I was going to retire from dancing but decided to follow my grandma and my dad wishes. So now you know the rest of the story! I am 1/2 Anishinaabe - for those that don't know what that means - Ottawa, Ojibwe and Potawatomi and 1/2 Sicangu Sioux.
