Army Reserves, 8 Years
Son of a 27 year military veteran (Army and Marines), I obtained a private pilot's license, a regular army commission, served 8 years in the New Jersey Army Reserves, and retired as a Captain in the early 1990s. I authored a book series entitled, "A Look Back in Time: Memoir of a Military Kid in the Fifties" describing the life and adventures of a proud military brat during Dad's tours in: Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Germany, Korea, and Maryland.

I served 8 years in the U.S. Navy then another 7 years in the U.S Army Reserves. I was in Desert Storm attached to the San Diego Fleet Hospital onboard the USS Mercy. I also served two tours in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom with the USAR. 2005-2006 & 2010.

Instructed primary flight students in T-28Bat Naval Air Station Corpus Christi. Separated from military to attend medical school.
