Charles Don Lankford, 63 year old resident of Sapulpa, Oklahoma died Thursday, April 21, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born September 19, 1952 to Jack Denny Lankford and Doris L. (Davis) Lankford in Lawton, Oklahoma. Charles was united in marriage to Peggy Ann Cheney on January 22, 1977. He was a bus driver for the Tulsa Transit Authority for 19 years. Charles was a resident of Sapulpa for the past 38 years and a member of Rhema Bible Church.
Survivors include wife, Peggy of the home; two daughters, Margaret Ann Germaine Allen and husband, Joshua McCamman of Glenpool, Oklahoma and Christine Angela Annette Lyons and husband, Jarred of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; one brother, Michael David Lankford of Oregon; and three grandchildren, Tiffany Nichole Allen, Abileyne Matylin Marie Hendrickson, and Austynn Sophie Renee Hendrickson.
Visitation 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Add'Vantage Funeral service chapel. Graveside funeral service 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 25, 2016 at South Heights Cemetery in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Reverend Vernon D. Howard will officiate.
