Hank Walbrick, born around 1953, is a recognized alumnus of Lawton High School, Lawton, Iowa. Born and raised in Lawton, he rose to prominence as an American football player and later, a coach. As a player, he had a remarkable career at East Central, where he served as a linebacker from 1971 to 1974. He launched his coaching career at Lawton High School (OK) in 1977.

He held various coaching positions at East Central from 1980 to 1989, before becoming a head coach from 1990 to 1998. Under his guidance, East Central football teams made respectable strides. Despite an overall coaching record of 34 wins, 58 losses, and one draw, he led the team to an impressive 3-0 in the NAIA playoffs.

One of his most significant achievements was leading East Central to an NAIA Division I Football National Championship in 1993. He also steered the team to an Oklahoma Intercollegiate Conference (OIC) championship in 1992. These accomplishments underscore his enduring influence in shaping East Central's football landscape.

Although he resigned from his coaching position at East Central in 1998, as reported by The Oklahoman, his legacy continues to impact future generations of football players.

The Lawton Constitution also captured his notable return to Lawton High School as an assistant football coach in 1977, marking a full-circle moment — from a student-athlete in Lawton to a mentor guiding the school's football future.
