Antonio Perkins, born on January 9, 1981, is a renowned figure of American football, originating from Lawton, Oklahoma. His journey in football commenced at Lawton High School, where he emerged as a promising player, lettering in football, basketball, and track.

Perkins took his talents to the University of Oklahoma, where he became a vital part of the Oklahoma Sooners football team from 2000 to 2004. With a total of 125 tackles, one sack, five stops for losses, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and 21 pass deflections, Perkins became known as a force to be reckoned with. His accolades include setting the NCAA record for most punt returns for touchdowns in a single game (three) and maximum punt return yards in a game (277). He was recognized as a first-team All-Big 12 selection and a unanimous All-American in his junior year, 2003.

After college, Antonio Perkins was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the fourth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He served the Browns for two seasons – 2005 and 2006. Later, he was claimed by the Indianapolis Colts, and ultimately, the Toronto Argonauts in 2008.
