trying to locate host family for second semester German boy

The principal of LHS has given me permission to try to find a host family for a second semester German boy whose sister currently attends East Central H.S. I don't want to put the siblings in the same school, but the family has requested they stay in the same general area.

This is a federal program. An in-home interview, a three person reference check, and a criminal background check are required. A host family, however, only need provide room and board and transportation to school. The student provides his/her own spending money and his/her own insurance.

Although I did not graduate from LHS, I did attend Homestead and Central Schools until my parents moved five houses into the North Dearborn school district. I graduated from North Dearborn and then taught at East Central.

I would enjoy hearing from you if you go back to the 50's.
