About	David Wayne Massingale, 66, of Indianapolis, passed away December 29th, 2021. He was born in Indianapolis October 25th, 1955 to parents Betty and Leonard Massingale. David graduated from Lawrence Central High school. He continued his education at Ball State University where he received his bachelor’s degree. For over 20 years, David worked as the facilities supervisor for Schmidt Associates, a job he excelled at and enjoyed. He was very well liked and respected by his employees and coworkers. On September 28th, 1991, he married the love of his life, Robin. They shared many delightful years together and displayed a wonderful example of what a loving couple should be. Some of their best memories are from their travels all over the world as well as their time with their children and grandchildren. David was a strong, loving gentleman with a heart of gold and an excellent sense of humor. Described as the patriarch of his family, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He took pride in providing for his family and enjoyed nothing more than quality time with his loved ones. Music was a huge part of his life. He loved playing and collecting guitars. David was also a proud owner of a Harley Motorcycle. Traveling the world was also a huge part of David’s life, especially with his wife, making priceless memories all over the world. David will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Robin; his sons Joseph and DJ; his daughter Nikki ; grandchildren Taylor, Lueck, and Alex ; siblings Leslie, Charles, and Lennie. He is preceded in death by his parents.
