I remember Kathleen on the yearbook staff. I always admired her, she held herself so elegantly. We both went off to Ball State but poor Kathleen contracted Spinal Meningitis. I saw her a few years later and we used to swim together. She nearly died but fought back and was physically never the same after her illness. I always felt so sad for her. She was still beautiful on the inside but her illness had so changed her life.
