About Me	Married my wife, Jackie in 1973. Lived in Pammel Court and graduated from Iowa State University with double major in Math and Computer Science in 1974. Worked in Des Moines at American Republic Insurance as a programmer and systems analyst until May 1977. Came back to Iowa State University to work in the Information Technology Services area. Now direct a systems development team, work with disaster recovery planning-risk management-security, and handle the HR duties for the 215 employees in the department. Have served four times as president of the Professional and Scientific Council representing 2900 employees at ISU. Taught Intro to Computer classes for Des Moines Area Community College evenings for 20 years. Now teaching computer evening courses for William Penn College for Working Adults. Recently elected to the Ames School Board for a three year term. Never a dull moment around our home. My children are five years apart and were born 1975 to 1990. All our children live within 20 miles of Ames, so we have Sunday night f...(read more)
