| About Me | Mostly tried to keep head above water financially. UMd one year, Seattle Pacific University 3 years, Married Iona Porter my college junior year, started a family at the same time I went to Army Basic Training as a Private E-2 at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. I was initially with the Washington State National Guard, Then spent a year at Fitzsimmons Hospital Aurora, CO, learning medical equipment repair. Returning from Basic and AIT, took a position for 1 yr with Company of General Radiology Medical as radiology field engineer, afterward 3 years with General Electric Medical Systems Division as Quality Control Engineer in Milwaukee, New Berlin, and Waukesha, WI. While in WI Served with the Air Force National Guard. Then spent 4 yrs at Nazarene Theological Seminary, in Kansaas City, MO - during which I switched from Air Force NG to Army Chaplain Candidate Program. Pastored a local church in Blue Springs, MO for 2 yrs, then entered Army Active Duty as an Army Chaplain in 1982.
