Army, 10 Years
Signals Intelligence Electronic Warfare Analyst, tours of duty in Okinawa Japan, (3 yrs) Korea (2 yrs), NSA at Fort Meade, Md, and Vint Hill Farms Station, Va. FIrst wave of deployers to Saudi Arabia for Desert Shield/Desert Storm.

Brent Cooper
Class of 1968
Army, 20+ Years
Served in the army at various bases to include Ft. Bragg, NC; Germany (2 tours), Ft. Sill, OK; and Minnesota. I was trained as a field artillery man. My job was in the FDC (Fire Direction Center). This is where firing data was tabulated and then sent to the guns for a fire mission. Joined January of '76 and retired January of '96. While in Germany I was stationed at Furth, Zirndorf, and Vilseck. My time in Minnesota was spent as a recruiter. Now residing in Leavenworth, KS Ft. Leavenworth being my last duty station.

No matter how great I feel about serving or how important I am tempted to think I am, I soon realized that military service is at the whims of politicians, who have little more than the interests of their own poliltical party or their own agendas to achieve with our blood. Few actually represent the interests of our nation as a whole.
