Mark died in 1993 at age 36 in San Diego, California. He performed in California as "Jesse Haywood" and did one-man shows about his life. I have videos of these shows and lots of memories of Mark. We were great friends in high school, and thanks to Mark, I got my first Summer Stock acting job during my college years. He was a complicated person, but always loved his friends. Angela L.
Mark was so talented! He and my sister Linda were great friends. He devoted countless hours to my class of 1977 and our performance of GODSPELL. He and Miss Van were also great friends. RIP Mark!!
Hi Peter! You are so right. Mark loved his friends in Laurel and helped so many people. I hope you and Linda are doing well and I hope Linda comes to our reunion this coming October. It would be great to see you and Linda and catch up.
