Army, 6 Years
Enlisting in the US Army under the Delayed Entry Program, I attended and completed BCT (Basic Combat Training) at Fort Dix, NJ in the summer of 1989, my Jr year at LaSalle. During my Sr year I was a US Army Reservist. After graduating I attended AIT (Advanced Individual Training) at Fort Benjamin Harrison, IN 1991 to become a Legal Specialist (71L). Later that year I was reassigned and stationed at Fort Rucker, AL and was trained as a Flight Operations Specialist (93P). I then deployed to Kuwait and assigned to an Attack Helicopter Battalion based in Fort Hood, TX in 1992. After returning that unit was relocated to Fort Carson, CO. I separated from active duty in 1995 and returned to Niagara Falls where I continued my military service by joining the NY Army National Guard until 2000.

Master Sargent James Anthony Priester, graduating class of 1989, is currently serving as a United States Air Force Base as a Master Sergeant at the Niagara Falls Reserve Air Force Base. He married his high school sweetheart that he started dating in his junior year. Dina (Nielsen) Priester graduated in 1989 from Niagara Wheatfield High School, September of 1992.
They currently reside in an area called Spencer Port, located in Rochester NY, with their three children. Mst Sgt. Priester drives approximately 1 1/2 hours on a daily basis to work at the Niagara Falls Reserve Air Force Base. His graduating class from 1989, just celebrated their 30th Class Reunion weekend with a golf outing, an Alumni picnic, a dinner and gathering after at The Four Points Sheridan in Niagara Falls, and ending the weekend fun celebrating with some of Niagara Falls LaSalle Graduates at the "Lovin La Salle" Music festival with some of the BEST LOCAL BANDS IN THE AREA..RUMORZ Staci Rabarzack Gagin) & SEVENTH SIGN (Corey Donnavan.
