About Me	Michael Ricci recently joined Prudential Florida Realty, Park Shore & The Ritz-Carlton. He is a member of the Naples Board of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, and the Florida Association of Realtors. Born and raised in Rhode Island, he moved to this area 3 years ago. Michael has a son Shawn, and two daughters, Diandra and Alexandra, both of which were adopted from Romania. A story which aired on 20/20 regarding the plight of Romania’s neglected and orphaned children in the aftermath of the revolution in 1990 prompted Michael and his wife Donna to travel to Romania. After finding their daughters in an orphanage there, the couple spent an extensive period of time in Romania, struggling through a difficult bureaucracy to obtain the necessary paperwork and visas which enabled them to bring the babies to the U.S. Prior to his profession in real estate, Michael and his wife were the founders and co-directors of Gift of Life Adoption Services, Inc., an international adoption agency. They held licenses in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts, and were members of the Child Welfare League of America. They facilitated placement of hundreds of abandoned children living in orphanages in many countries overseas, with families living throughout the United States. The Riccis traveled extensively to meet government officials as well as orphanage directors to introduce their strong vision of hope and opportunity for children and subsequently established adoption programs. The Riccis worked tirelessly with every prospective adoptive parent in the U.S., working one on one with them every step of the emotional process, paving the way not only until unification with their child, but also post-adoption as well ensuring a smooth transition and support system. Michael and his wife are the former owners of a restaurant in Naples, Table 82. In addition to their 3 children, they have 3 beautiful grandchildren. Michael has excellent communication skills, great attention to detail, and he always remains fully committed to the task at hand. He has thrived on dedicating himself to serving his clients throughout his professional career, and looks forward to assisting customers with their real estate needs.
