About Me	Hi, my name is Paula. I am originally from Houston, Tx. I've also lived in Beaumont and Dallas and now live in the Chicago suburbs. I love the Lord and am proud to be a Christian. I wasn't always, but God touched my heart 20 years ago. I often fail and fall short, but with God's help, I pick myself up again and pray to be a little better and a little stronger. I have fibromyalgia and bouts of depression which is debilitating at times. Mental illnesses and unseen conditions like fibromyalgia are often stigmatized. Some people uneducated in such matters see it as weakness or character flaws. On the contrary, it takes a strong person to get up everyday in the face of anguish, chronic pain, exhaustion, limitations, and ridicule to get up each and everyday soldier on and not give into adversity.
