About	Acute myeloid leukemia. Diagnosis -- death was 17 days. Surviving is his wife (Judy), 3 children, 8 grandchildren and a great granddaughter due in March of 2011. Gary was a Navy veteran (1963-1969) and served aboard the USS Constellation with 4 Westpac cruises during the Viet Nam conflict.
