| About Me | Born at Fort Knox, KY. Have two sisters and one brother, my Mother bless her heart will be 87 this May. Lived in Alaska for several years, but graduated from LaRue County High School in 1966. Worked at Ft. Knox as a bank teller and then civil service, moved to Florida, back to KY., met my first husband, Paul and married in 1969. We ended up moving to Alaska and were fortunate enough to get on the Alaskan Pipeline, yes, I did construction work for about 10 years or so. We adopted two beautiful babies, a boy, Brendan in May of '82 and then adopted a girl in September '82!!! That was wild. Only 18 months after our little girl was adopted, I was divorced, Paul moved from Alaska and moved to Hawaii and after several months on my own with the babies, I had to get out of Alaska and get some green grass under my children's feet, so I headed to KY. Moved to KY in September 1984 and been here since. Built my own home, and opened my own business, a day care. I'm am now entering my 26th year in business....(read more) |
