The Lansdowne High School Class of 1985 40th Reunion
Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 6 pm - 10 pm.

Parking: Available on East Drive, Steven’s Avenue and in the Pay to Park Lot across from Sorrento’s.
Hotels: If you are coming in from out of town or state please use sites such as Booking.com to arrange accommodations!
No Smoking or Vaping inside the Arbutus Social Club.
The awesome menu will be provided by either Olive Grove or Mission BBQ!
Beer, Soda (Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Soda Water, Seltzer Water), Lemonade, Iced Tea Will Be Available! Other Beverage Options Will Be Announced Later.
Tickets: $50.00 per person. Cut off for ticket sales is October 11th.
Significant others are warmly welcome to attend. If you are a partner with a Viking - you are a Viking.

Payment Plan: A convenient payment plan is offered to help spread the cost of the reunion. Please email Cindy directly at cindybelle@msn.com for details.
Provide your name and email address. Ladies, please provide your maiden and married last name. If you purchase addition tickets please list the name, school if it is different than LHS, and class year.
After you purchase your ticket(s) you will receive a survey concerning the reunion in which other information will be requested (.t menu options, specific meal requests in respect to allergies, music preferences, etc.).
We will sell tickets for the reunion to other classmates from LHS however, the hall has a maximum occupancy, so we may have to prioritize our classmates to ensure they are able to attend.
LHS and Arbutus Junior High School teachers will be invited. If you want to invite teachers from Lansdowne Junior High, please feel free to do so.
Though we love our children and grandchildren please find a sitter so you can fully enjoy our reunion!
We will have a DJ, photo booth plus a few surprises. There is one major surprise that we cannot announce at this time, but it is super cool!
With all that said Janine, Daretta and Cindy need Vikings to help!
Contacting Classmates: If you know of a classmate(s) who are not on Facebook, please share this event with them. If they are on Facebook and are not a member of the LHS Class of 1985 page, invite them to the group. Please note that if the classmate has blocked any of the administrators or moderators they cannot join unless they unblock that person. Contact Cindy for more information.
Please reply in the comments if you are interested in volunteering for a committee listed below:
Decorations Coordinator - Selecting decorations, arranging for purchase or rental, and coordinating setup and removal. This could include banners, tablecloths, and other decorations. This role can recruit other volunteers to assist.
Games Coordinator - Responsible for planning, organizing, and executing games to create a fun, memorable experience. This could involve trivia, icebreaker questions to help classmates reconnect.
‘In Memoriam’ Coordinator – We will honor the memory of Vikings who are no longer with us. This can be done with a memorial table/display similar to the missing man table presented by the military, directory/memory book, a moment of silence or a special poem, a "Memory Corner" where classmates can bring mementos or written tributes.
On-site Coordinator - Assists with check-in, seating, and other logistical tasks.
Registrar - Coordinates the search for missing graduates and handles event registration at the door.
Slide Show Coordinator - Responsible for gathering photos, videos, and other media to create a slideshow presentation for the event. Showcase memories, introduce alumni, and provide entertainment.
T-Shirt Coordinator – Oversee the creation and distribution of reunion-themed t-shirts. From design and ordering to selling the shirts.
