| About Me | Would love to sit down with all my high school friends and share the many countries I have worked and lived. I feel truly blessed to have had the opportunity to see the World in many of my Civil Service positions. When I was assigned to Turkey as Director for U.S. Customs, was probably the most exciting employment I had. Since I have always been outspoken and women did not have rights, I was lucky to complete my 4 year tour. I came close to getting in trouble many a time. My daughter, Andie, graduated at the Ambassador’s Home with her class of 22. Thank you Lord for allowing me to know the people of the many countries I lived in; will take all my memories that live in my heart back to you, my God. I worked and lived in all four sections in Germany, and was there when the ‘Wall’ came down. Also lived and worked in Russia, China, the Philippines, Africa, Australia, Greece, and Dhahran. Oh, forgot England; took a two week trip for R&R. I lived and worked abroad for 22 years. Bu...(read more) |
