Quartney Davis (2016)

NFL wide receiver for the Indianapolis Colts

What is Quartney Davis (2016) known for?

Quartney Davis, born April 7, 1998 in Houston, Texas, is an American football player who is best known as a wide receiver for the Montreal Alouettes in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He started his high school career at Langham Creek High School in Houston, Texas and later pursued college football at Texas A&M University.

In college, despite a significant ACL injury which redshirted his first year, he bounced back in 2018 and 2019 to showcase impressive performances. As a sophomore in 2018, he started 12 of 13 games and had 45 receptions for 585 yards and seven touchdowns. His junior year was equally impressive, recording 54 receptions for 616 yards and four touchdowns, with his last-second touchdown securing a thrilling seven-overtime victory for Texas A&M over the LSU Tigers.

Despite being undrafted in the 2020 NFL Draft, Davis persevered and signed with the Minnesota Vikings as a free agent before moving to the Indianapolis Colts in 2021. Unfortunately, he was waived by the Vikings and later placed on injured reserve during his time with the Colts. However, in February 2023, Davis was signed by the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL, marking a new chapter in his professional football career.
