Jamar Williams, born on June 14, 1984 in Houston, Texas, is a former gridiron football player known for his role as a linebacker. Starting his football career in high school, Williams attended Langham Creek High School in his hometown before moving on to play at Arizona State University.

Williams first entered the professional football scene when he was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the 2006 NFL Draft after his college career. He consistently performed well for the Bears, attaining 89 tackles and 1 quarterback sack in four seasons. In 2010, Williams was traded to the Carolina Panthers where he played for the remainder of the season.

After his stint with the Panthers, Williams made the move to the Canadian Football League, signing up with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in March 2012.
