| Favorite School Memory | My favorite high school memory is being in the Lucy Craft Laney Marching and Concert Band. Mr. Mason and Melvin Davis ran a tight ship; we learned from them that we had to work hard to become successful in life. The band's halftime performances were occasionally filmed to let us see how well we performed and the mistakes we made on the football field.
