Starting out as a carpenter in the combat engineers, retired in 1995 at the rank of Master Sergeant with 22 years of service. Awarded the Master combat engineer Badge, 2 Air Force Meritorious service awards, 2 Air Force Accomendation awards,and serveral Air Force achievement awards. Last assignment as Chief,facilities maintenance management, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska

She graduated from UW-Platteville in 1981 and has a Masters degree in National Security Studies, California State University 1993,1992 Squadron Officer School,1998 Air Command and Staff College.
