Married my high school sweetheart in 1969 after serving in the Army for two years (Marilyn Sweyer Class if ‘66). Attended Ohio State, started working in the Farmers and Citizens Bank in 1969, three children Scott, Julie and Ryan. Moved to Florida in 1978 and retired from SunTrust after 25 years! 44 years as a banker! Became a grandfather with 5 of them. Got my masters degree at LSU, Served on Tavares Cuty council for ten years as council member, vice mayor and mayor!
Was adjunct faculty member at Lake Sumter Community College for twenty years and worked on many community projects, chamber of commerces and served as President and Lt. Governor in Kiwanis. Have had a blessed life as an Elder and Deacon in the Presbyterian Church. Traveled all over the world and have for the most Part been relatively healthy! Hope to spend the rest of my days enjoying, life, family angled golf!
