Art is a primary owner in a Lancaster Company, which produces and markets Bismolene Powder. In the 1980s, after discovering that the L-S Boys track program was in danger of being dropped, for lack of a coach, he took time from his business and coached for a number of years as the head boys coach until district coaches took over the role. He even solicited his brother, Marty Keen to help. Thus, the boys program continues today.
