Starting scholarship: Help!

We are considering establishing a scholarship of sorts for a trip to Denmark - where we live.

Our idea is this - the scholarship is open for Lamar students or grads from 16 - 20 years old. They do not have to be college bound. The purpose of the trip is to broaden their understanding of culture, geography, etc. and provide stimulus for modern and creative thinking. One student will be awarded acomodation in our house, built in 1740, most meals, and activities will be paid. They will be here circa 5 days. We are still discussing details.

The student is required to pay their own airfare to Sønderborg Denmark, museum entry fees, spending/pocket money, and an occasional meal.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR HELLP WITH THE COST OF AIRFARE -- CIRCA 1,200 USD TOTAL. ANY DONATED AMOUNT WELCOME.
The application and essay mentioned on the LHS website look like a great and usable method of choosing the winner.

This year celebrates my 25th class reunion. Due to this fact, we would like to announce the scholarship in June.
