| About Me | Graduated "Lakers High School" on June 3rd 1964; (Elkton-Pigeon-Bay Port" Worked 1/2-went to school 1/2 a day in "Senior Year" (Lakers High School-Co-operative Education Program"; Co-operative Employer; "Shetler Equipment Company--International Farm Tractor & International Truck Dealer": President Kennedy was killed in the "Fall" of my Senior Year; So 12/1965 I joined the USAF & worked on "Fighter Jets"; after spending "almost a year in "USAF Electronic Tech School" Figurers; wanted to be a "Navy Seal growing up, Than they were called Frogmen":) After an "Honorable Discharge from the USAF"; Got engaged to "Mary Lee Schlabach; Married 7/10/1970 divorced 4/20/1997; We have "Three Sons" & Two Twin Grandaughters; Our Son will be for-ever 19---Died in an early AM accident on his way to work:( After the USAF; worked for a "Plymouth Electronics Company"; But liked working with People better than components; So hired in w/E.J. Clabuesch at the "Pigeon State Bank"; Mr. Clabuesch took my "Financial Statement" on the back of a "Bank Envelope" Than they were 10 million & less than 10 employees; Now there 5 Branches & 200 Million+ Assets; CEO Dubey came 1978 the year I left; Have scince worked for "Manufacturers Bank of Bay City"; A spin off of "Manufacturers Bank of Detroit"; (The Ford Family Bank)--started the Signature Bank Branch Bank; with YeVonne Ball & Karen Hoagg; Across from "Lukes" in Sebewaing; Worked in Sales for "Bresnan Communications" Bay City; Micjhigan--We worked in "Essexville"; Bay City; Midland; Hudsonville & surrounding "Farm Country"; Than worked "Tourism" for ( seasons); Worked for "Mackinac Island Service Company; City of Mackinac Island & Mission Point Resort; "Carriage Tours" being my last Island Employer; Was "accounting Supervisor; Recycling; Carriage people loader; Baggage Handler; Gift Shop Supervisor and Street Sweeper---You name it I did it---...(read more) |
