A Marine Corps SGT barely 4 years out of LHS.
Killed in a South Vietnam Province by small arms fire.
He is buried in the rear area of Oak Hill Cemetery off Hwy 98. I tend his grave to keep
it tidy and respectful with small US flags. His parents are buried in the same plot and a place is reserved for his son.
Jim was a good friend to many people and was surely a tough Marine Warrior. I was in the country when he was killed, but did not know that until I got back, as the Army and Marines did not often cross paths on our operations.

I knew and met Jimmy when He was still in High School and He would work part time at drive in restaurant on Lak Hills Blvd next to Medic al Arts Bldg. Really a great person and at times I would give Him a ride home after work ..
