| About Me | I graduated from Western Illinois University in 1980, worked for 3 years at a home for mentally handicapped adults. I then married Steve Carter, an army man, and have moved 8 times and lived in 3 different states and 2 different countries. We have spent 9 years in Germany over our military career. I worked as a goverment services worker in a financial counselor position, substitue taught, worked in bookstores, and department stores. I worked as a wedding coordinator, and have volunteered in many postions as well. I have stayed at home with my kids and for many years have home schooled them. I have learned to play the guitar, and lead worship teams. I have served under other worship leaders who are so much more able than I am to lead. I love learning and growning and trying new things.
