About	Michael E. Whitenack Obituary Michael E. Whitenack, 52, of Norfolk, passed away January 7, 2004, in Sentara Leigh Hospital. A native of Norfolk, VA, Mr. Whitenack was the son of the late Edward L. and Audrey L. Whitenack. He was employed by Vamac in Norfolk. He had served in the U.S. Air Force and was an avid golfer and sports fan. He is survived by his son, Michael Lee Whitenack; two sisters, Edwina Naujoks and her husband William of Virginia Beach, VA and Nancy Smink of Virginia Beach, VA; an aunt, Margaret Benton of Virginia Beach, VA; and three nieces. A funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel with Rev. Tom Mercer officiating. The burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m.
