About	Weldon Woods OBITUARY Weldon Woods VIRGINIA BEACH – Weldon Neal “Bubba” Woods, 56, went to be with the Lord April 15, 2008, at his residence. He was born July 18, 1951, in Jackson, Miss. Bubba was a retired longshoreman with Hampton Roads Shipping Association. He was preceded in death by his father, Neal E. Woods. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Woods and her children, Anna Gray Thornton and Charles Ryan Coley; his mother, Myrtle Woods; sisters, Gloria Woods Butler and husband Eddie and Joy Woods Melton and husband Mark; his father and mother-in-law, Fred and Peggy Wirt; his uncle, Billy and aunt, Johnnie Woods; aunt, Martha “Boppy” and uncle, Tommy Mustin; aunt, Janet Woods; aunt, Sarah Woods; his nieces; nephew; one great-niece and one great-nephew and a host of cousins. A funeral will be conducted Sunday at 2:30 p.m. by Pastor Rob Vincent in the chapel of Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach. Interment will be held at noon Monday at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, send nontaxable donations to “Recovery for the City,” Atlantic Shores Baptist Church, 1861 Kempsville Road.
