I served 8 years in the US Air Force. I was a Special Purpose Vehicle and Equipment Mechanic for 4 years in a Mobile Aerial Port Squadron. I retrained to Vehicle Maintenance Control where I spent time in Transportation, 2MAPS and then went to Panama Canal Zone for 8 months. I was discharged for a medical after 3 knee surgeries. I loved my time in the Military and would have stayed in if I could have.

I have two tours on active duty, the first from 1991 to 1995 before transfering to the Air Force Reserve. On September 11th, 2001, I was welcomed back to active duty for an additional year and two months. I returned to the active reserves in December of 2002 and have continued to serve in the reserves until present.
