| About Me | Hello. My mom Hilda Escalante attended Lake City Area High School for a year through an exchange international program from Mexico (1962 to 1963). After that, she returned to Mexico, and unfortunately she passed away from cancer a few years ago. Now I am trying to fulfill one of her last wishes that was to contact the host family that lovingly gave her a home in Lake City for one year. While selling her house, I lost her archived correspondence, hence any contact information of them. I live now in Pittsburgh, PA with my husband David. I posted a few pictures from that time in 1963.
