I left Lake City after graduation and joined the Navy. I spent 24 years active service. I retired as a Master Chief Petty Officer. Most of my time was spent on the west coast. I retired in 1996 and came home.

Navy, 14 Years
Enlisted in the Navy in 1995. Completed Recruit Training at Great Lakes Il. He then was rated as an AMH. Then reported to his first command of VP-47 stationed at Nas Barbers Point Hawaii. He then transfered to Exective Transport Division Hawaii. While there he completed a BS from Emery-Riddle Aeronatical University. Then went to an instructor tour at VP-30, Nas Jacksonville, FL. He was then selected to be commissed as an officer and oreder to Officer Candidate School Pensacola, FL. Then completed training to become a Naval Flight Officer. LT Morrison is currently stationed at VQ-2 Nas Whidbey Island. WA

Served in the 1439th and 1440th Fire Fighting Units stationed at Camp Graying, also Delta Company 1/246 Armor Battalion stationed in Cadillac. Deployed with the 1449th. Engineer Detachment in 2004 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Served 11.5 months in Iraq. Retied in July 2014.

Joined right out of High School as a truck driver. After two years reenlisted into computer field. Served at Fort Polk, Fort Campbell, Fort Belvoir, Fort Detrick, Fort Jackson, 3 years in Germany, 2 tours in Korea and the Persian Gulf War. While in the Washington DC area I provided communication support for three Presidential Campaigns. Retired after 22 to take a position as a Information Security Specialist with the Department of Defense.
