About Me	Rolf is one hoopy frood who knows where his towel is! Like most egomaniacal sociopaths, I enjoy dabbling in computer graphics, watching esoteric films, writing novels no one reads, and building audio/video systems which instill fear and envy in my minions. Interests: Besides being a tremendous bore to lower lifeforms, I occasionally find time to follow the latest Japanese headlines, by-lines, by-passes, by-ways, bye-byes and so on and so forth, as well as the odd mad scramble for anime CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray Discs, toys, figures, posters and books. Favorite Music: Being an eclectic sort of person, I prefer the following types of music: classical (first & foremost) with the likes of Richard Strauss and film score composers Jerry Goldsmith (R.I.P.) and John Williams, Joe Hisaishi (scores most of Miyazaki's films), heavy metal (not that glam or glitter crap; real head-banging stuff!) (like Judas Priest---and Priest frontman Rob Halford's solo work---Iron Maiden, Metal Church, Accept, Rammstein, etc.), thinking-man's-metal (Rush, of course!), new age (Vangelis primarily), and some forms of jazz like Marcus Miller (does Sade count?) (please pardon all of these parentheses). Favorite TV Shows: Lost, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, X-Files, Star Trek: Voyager, Eureka, Futurama, The Walking Dead, The Shield. (Just a few of my) Favorite Movies: Blade Runner, Macross the Movie: Do You Remember Love?, Highlander, Oldboy, Alien, Seven Samurai, My Neighbor Totoro, Leon The Professional, Somewhere in Time, Gattaca, Ran, Jin-Roh: Wolf Brigade, Laputa: Castle in the Sky, Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World, Valhalla Rising, Looper, Inception, The Dark Knight Rises, The Sky Crawlers... Favorite Authors: Writers which stimulate my gray matter are (in no particular order): J.R.R. Tolkien, Larry Niven, Robert E. Howard, Alfred Bester, Joe Haldeman, Michael Moorcock, Eiji Yoshikawa, Hayao Miyazaki, Robert A. Heinlein, H.G.
