About Me	Graduated from the University of Michigan with degrees in film and communictions. Moved to Jamaica and worked at a hotel on the north shore, nearly got killed twice; left Jamaica and joined the Peace Corps. Lived in the South Pacific nation of the Kingdom of Tonga for 2 years and had a blast; Traveled thoughout the South Pacific, Hawaii and Asia; Moved back to US, got married; lived on a farm in Wisconsin (of all places!), had 3 amazing kids - Amanda, 16, Trevor, 13 and Lauren 11; Real estate writer for The Wisconsin State Journal; then transitioned to business, technology, adventure and travel writer (specializing in private islands and weird sciencey things) for several major national magazines, including Reader's Digest, National Geographic Traveler, Millionaire, Cigar Aficionado and Popular Science. Frequently traveled to the Caribbean and Africa for work. Moved to CA for a PR job with Kawasaki. Now single again and living in sunny southern CA raising my 3 kids and heading up PR for a Fortune 300 Company....(read more)
