Come join your classmates for a relaxing (casual dress) catch up and stroll down memory lane. Enter in the back entrance of Uncle D's (private room and bathrooms for our event). Full menu, non and alcoholic beverages - individual tabs.
Bring photos and Oaks. This is the weekend of LHS Alumni Basketball Tournament - so you can catch a game from Thurs 4/28 thru Sun 5/1 if you choose. Friday night at the Brown Bear is a good time to catch a variety of people- 1970 and other years.

Note this is the weekend of the alumni tournament -- some classmates may decide to visit the Brown Bear Friday night -many other classes show up. --if you are interested the basket ball game schedule should be available closer to the weekend (class of '69 still plays - 6pm Friday noc and 10am & 1pm on Saturday (they are currently the "oldest (most experienced!) team playing. - are any from 1970 playing?) Please join us to enjoy and celebrate our Lafayette High School Class of 1969 45-year reunion on Friday, April 25, and Saturday, April 26, 2014. We hope you will attend and visit with friends. On Friday, April 25, no reservations are necessary. We will gather to cheer on our 1969 basketball team at the annual Lafayette Alumni Tournament to be held at Lafayette High School, 412 Highland Avenue. Our first game is scheduled for 6 PM in the new gym located upstairs directly to the left of the main gym doors. After the game, you are invited to visit with old friends at the Brown Bear, First Ward or any other place or your choosing. For additional tournament information, please contact Ron “Chic” Burgess.
On Saturday, April 26, we will have an evening of dinner, dancing, and conversation at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 4520 Mitchell Ave., St. Joseph, across from MO Western State University. The cost per person is $35. This is the exact same price from 5 years ago. The evening will begin at 6 PM and end at midnight. There will be keg beer available. If you desire other libations, please BYOB and mixers. Dress is casual. In order to be fair to everyone, those who attend the reunion must pay the $35 fee per person. A class photo will be taken during the evening and mailed to you for a fee of $12. Additional photos will be made available at a lesser amount.
