| About Me | I've taught kindergarten for a year, second grade for three years, first grade for eight years, and am currently a reading specialist -- all for the Lee's Summit School District. I've received a Bachelor's Degree from CMSU in Elementary and Early Childhood Education, taken 15 hours in School Counseling from CMSU, received a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Webster University, and am finishing up my Special Reading Certificate with UCM (formerly CMSU). I am also currently serving as the Vice President for the Lee's Summit Reading Council of the International Reading Association. I own a home in Lee's Summit and have a precious little Shih Tzu puppy named Boston, after one of my favorite cities. I love to travel and been to about 20 US states, Mexico, and Canada.
