I think Ron and we’re with the drummers during band class in junior high. We usually practiced on little round rubber pads in sound proof rooms while the rest of the class was taught in the main classroom. Ron and I would sometimes sneak into each other’s practice rooms via the window to talk
to alleviate the boring isolated practices. We discovered we both enjoyed planting and growing vegetables in our back yards. I think he shared some colored Indian corn which I planted in our yard and got some cool corn. I went with Ron once when he was taking care of a wheel chair bound lady as a part time job. I remember he had a pretty single mom and lived a short distance from the high school.
