| About Me | I am currently in recovery from brain surgery. I had to have a colloidal cyst remove from the center of my brain on May 20. 2009. The cyst was pressed up against my "memory cord" that runs through the center of the brain. This was causing extreme swelling that was pushing my brain through the ventricles in the front of my head. I have had severe migraine-type headaches for 25 plus years (that was the diagnosis around 1982). I was given some whopping good pain pills back then to keep them under control. Now the headaches are gone, and other than the normal aging aches and pains, I'm pain free for the first time in 25 years. At the moment, my short term and long term memory is not good, but improving. This "Classmates" site and "Facebook" are helping restore some of my memory function. I've been on the road since graduating from college (Western Oregon, Europe, Australia, Colorado, etc.) I settled back in Montana in 1988 where I am originally from and I'm married now. Marriage happened in 1996. (my wife and I currently reside in Helena). Since returning to Montana, I earned another degree (in History), worked for an art publishing company, got married, worked for a telecom company managing nine warehouses, and a few other things.
